Biography & Background
Born in Bako, Oromia, 27 year old Zerihun Chalchisa built a strong foundation for his career by earning his degree in Accounting from Wollega University. Yet beyond his academic pursuits lay a deep-seated desire to serve vulnerable communities.
That purpose found its calling when Zerihun discovered the grassroots relief work of Teshale Tamiru and Lalisa Abera. Inspired by their dedication, he closely followed their journey for a year, moved by the tangible relief they brought to orphans, individuals with disabilities, and families facing hardship across Oromia. Driven by a shared heart for service, Zerihun stepped forward to join the team in 2023.
Today, Zerihun serves as the official Accountant at the ATIS NAMA Foundation. By combining his professional expertise in financial management with his passion for humanitarian service, he plays an essential role in ensuring that resources are managed with integrity, enabling the foundation to expand its reach and transform lives across the region
