Biography & Background
Born in Nekemte, Oromia, Hambo grew up with deep empathy for his community. He earned his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Wollega University, building a strong analytical foundation while establishing himself as a successful businessman and an influential voice on social media.
Despite his professional achievements, Hambo sought a higher purpose for his platform and skills. After closely following the grassroots relief efforts of Teshale Tamiru and Lalisa Abera, he was deeply moved by the tangible impact they were making in vulnerable communities. Inspired to act, Hambo joined the movement in 2023, leveraging his public reach and business acumen to amplify their cause.
Today, Hambo serves as the Secretary of the ATIS NAMA Foundation. By combining his background in engineering, operational experience, and influential reach, he plays a vital role in coordinating the foundation's initiatives helping turn social advocacy into life-changing aid for orphans, people with disabilities, and families in need across Oromia
