Community learning centre handed to local committee
After a year of foundation operation and mentorship, the community learning centre was formally handed over to an independent committee composed of local teachers, parents, and community elders who now oversee the timetable and facility upkeep.
Over the past twelve months, the centre provided literacy and numeracy evening classes for more than sixty adult learners, as well as an after-school study space with solar-powered lighting for rural students. Foundation staff will continue to provide educational materials and quarterly curriculum guidance.
The transition marks a key milestone in our commitment to sustainable community ownership, ensuring educational assets remain deeply rooted in the local neighborhood for generations to come.
